POSITION NAME    Internal Audit Analyst

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP      Justo Carmena – Head of Internal Audit

MAIN FUNCTIONS

The Internal Audit Analyst will be part of Internal Audit newly created department and will actively participate in the start-up and development of the new area.

Main Responsibilities:

• Development of internal control processes for astara Group.
• Analysis and Evaluation of Group risk management.
• Assess company financial risk
• Gather and analyze data
• Check the accuracy of financial reports
• Audit the efficiency of business processes
• Ensure the business adheres to policies, procedures, legislations, and regulations
• Stakeholder communication
• Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and make recommendations for improvement
• Preparation of reports with proposals to improve internal control and risk management

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• + 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Accounting and financial knowledge, which allows the fluid analysis of financial statements
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets
• Extensive technical knowledge about SAP's services
• Experience in handling Office, mainly Excel and Power Point.
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail to review large amounts of data and numbers
• Good critical-thinking skills to gather all the available data and make decisions
• English level C1 / advanced.
